What has been your favorite method for keeping your high value loot? Any new strats you've come up with to deal with this ocean menace? Then the only thing they can take is in your inventory? LitulLola Posted July 3, 2022 Author Share Posted July 3, 2022 Well yes the little buggers will take your stuff from your backpack, but they will take from your personal inventory first left to right, so if you have your inventory filled out with say 1 lightbulb per slot with a stack in your backpack to refill you should be fine. If your really nervous about the monkey raids turning you into a monkey before you have found the the Island you can turn the raids down until you find it then turn them back up. Although being wonkey may help you stepping foot on the island for the first time. I stopped counting the powder monkeys on my island after 15, that's A lot of monkeys coming at you at once. I made a couple pens 1 around a banana plant and another with a Christmas bulb and banana I threw down. It worked on some monkeys but not on others so I don't know. I'm on console so I'm not sure if things are a bit diff for me. I dunno I'm sure someone already tried it They go directly to the boat you currently were when they spawn, even if you jump to another boat or land, their AI will probably harass the boat they targeted first, since you're not there anymore they might just punch the chests and steal things before leaving but they won't follow you, unless you attack them. You can probably bait their AI by placing bananas on the floor of the boat, they come, grab the bananas and they sail away, minimum of 5 bananas per raid?
