Electroely
I think it'd be good if you could repair the shell bumpers with Cookie Cutter Shells. They're both made of animal shell, and cookie cutter shells tend to pile up from time to time. Having an extra use for them would be good.
Nettalie
Would also be cool to allow shell bells to repair them for a full repair.

HowlVoid
I rather use the material used to craft it, going out of my way for cookie cutter shells; I rather just craft a new one. Broke shells to fix the shell bumper and kelp to fix the kelp bumper. Alternatively allow boat kits to repair them too.

Snurtle/Seashell pieces already allow you to repair the bumpers, you don't need to go out of your way for cookie cutter shells. I just think it'd be good if we had an extra option to repair them rather than only one way.
Hornete
To be honest, I think I'd like a whole new bumper dedicated to the cookie cutter shells, the progression for bumpers is very small, with only two types currently. another bumper type to fit in between those two would be very nice for making the progression a bit smoother. That would be nice. There's a lot of potential with these bumpers to have special mechanics and utility as well, rather than just stronger than the ones before. I instantly thought of a stinger bumper that damages mobs in the ocean that go next to them when I saw the original two bumpers in the beta. This!! I want to deck out my boat in cookie cutter shells. Maybe they could do some small damage to stuff you ram into? Maybe. They look pretty sharp. Double this and I'd also like it if they do more damage (maybe more knockback) to the monkey's boats or offer cookie cutter immunity (camouflage).
