weird that WX make the hurt sound of a fleshling

Recommended Posts

as the title suggests. I know they probably has the personality from a human judging from the Disconnected short but they still has a metal body LOL I think it'll be more reasonable if WX makes the sound of a clockwork/twins etc. when hit

next time when you wear metal armor and someone hits you whit a mace, you sould not make any pain noise, since you have kinda like a metal body whit the armor on, see how much pain sounds will come from that

so just because you have metal body dont mean you dont do pain sounds, and since wx has a talkin module of some sorts, it does pain sounds

I wonder why would anyone make a modul for themself to feel pain and other negative things

I think they mean WX currently makes a flesh sound on top of their yell, so it would be more fitting if their flesh sound were changed to a metal sound like the clockworks when you hit them.

Its probably just for simplicity/clarity. Players get used to hearing that sound while playing as other characters

Or a leftover feature present since WX's addition XD

Just look at the animation, man. When he returns back at his conscience screaming. Its so...human. Klei just hits the right spot in my feels there.

I never knew that a buzzing robot noise could sound so anguished before I watched that video. :wilson_cry:

Experiencing pain is a survival mechanism. Superhero stuff and other fantasy make the idea of not experiencing it sound cool, but people who don't experience pain have an unfortunate tendency to get injured and/or die. Even the ability to feel emotional pain is an evolutionary advantage.
