Trevindo
Guys, I was thinking about oceanic fish and how to give more importance to fishing for different fish, I came to the conclusion that it would be cool if fish from deeper regions had a greater tendency to be heavier, so it would cheer up wurt players and would make the mission of collecting heavy fish for the pearl more viable for you to play in general. What do you think? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/139476-changes-in-oceanic-fish/ Share on other sites

Spino43
I just want seasonal fishes to spawn more often tbh. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/139476-changes-in-oceanic-fish/#findComment-1561224 Share on other sites
Flip Face
I would like to see fish so heavy they would leave the carcass behind like whales in shipwreck. The carcasses could be carried and hammered like giant plantations. Sunfish and Ice Bream are really good replacement for Thermal stones when you play as Wurt. Or when you don't play Wurt. Insulated Pack FTW. Also, Surf 'n' Turf is awesome. The regular ocean fishng rod would just snap in half :P But yea would be fun. The image of a giant scorching sunfish giving off as much light as a fully stoked campfire is somthing I didn't know I wanted. I also thought that by rotting the carcass it might turn into some kind of hound mound. But now that you mention the net, I thought of a type of large-scale fishing like: When catching the fish with the fishing net, you should bring it ashore. Or get close enough to lift the net. Then it would start to sail dragging it in the sea while the fish is calm, and stop the boat when it tries to escape. Just like we do with smaller fish. But the fishing net could make the marine fishing rod outdated or even useless. I like the idea of the fishing rod that is part of the boat. Spoiler And now I see that it's easier to have a "carriage" in the sea if we could use the fish to pull the boats. We need bigger aquariums. 42 minutes ago, Ashkain said: I'd love to just carry the giant fish whilst they're alive. I think our wish list for klei is getting too big.
