So I finally tried abit of the new Wx and...

So maybe I'm the only one who feels this way but is it just me or does his damage reflect module seem a bit too powerful? I mean it's not like his base stats or low or anything and the damage reflect does a pretty absurd amount of damage for getting hit again this might just be me but it seems a bit too strong even if you'd need to equip 3 for really powerful results.

Don't get me wrong the other effects are good but like this is kill tentacles from tanking 6 hits strong that's kind of silly in my opinion at least it just seems crazy strong compared to most of the other things it's probably not game breaking but it seems too powerful for a passive ability.

Edit: At the very least I feel like the module should come with a draw back like decreasing max hp for each one installed.

I have tested this in a lot of scenarios and even with 3 of them installed, the result were very underwhelming. I tried mostly against the mobs this is meant to work, which are small mobs that outnumber you, like splumonkeys or spiders.
I really think it needs a buff, probably that the counter attack is AOE around wx instead.

As it stands, it's not even worth getting one.

I don't think it should be AOE, the point is it's meant to be single target. has a cooldown of .3 seconds for each circuit so it starts to do very poorly in large numbers, which I like, it's a nice sorta expansion on the very very small amount of thorns abilities in this game filling other niches.

While Wormwood does fantastic with his bramble vest in large hordes, but badly with single target, Wx-78 does fantastic with their electrification circuits to singular targets, and badly in large hordes. I would hate to see Wx-78 fit the same niche as Wormwood rather then fitting their own unique niche.

I would just like to see wet mobs take extra damage and I think things will start to get a little more fun Maybe also let waterballoons make mobs wet, God please Klei I have been waiting for years let us make mobs wet damnit!

Guess I need to do a bit more testing I didn't even realize there was a cool down I mostly tested it on higher hp and slower attacking hordes but I'd still say just based on the amount of damage it outputs it's more than worth it sure your not going to go out of your way to get hit but punishing attackers with heavy damage when you do seems too good to pass up.

I don't think this game needs thorns abilities, and the electrical circuit sucks so I don't think we should have a crappy circuit just to fill a niche

It's particularly niche, but it's pretty good in those few cases where it applies.

i see that in other way. Wx having that perk means than the bramble armor becomes more useful since it will make a good psinergy with them

pd. klei pls increase the brumble armor durability and change the recipe to hound teeths instead of bones <3

Does it stack with wormwoods armor?

if you get hit wearing it botj effects will trigger

about the perk, it shouldn't be aoe since is the one who touches them who get electrifyied and for the same reason shouldn't have cool down imo

Yes but you have to sacrifice all 6 of your prongs to do this and take 204 damage to kill the tentacle. For comparison, if you kite it, you can kill it with 0 prongs while taking 0 damage. I just tested this and it takes 5 seconds to kill it with 3 electrification circuits and 18s to kill it by kiting with a tentacle spike. Is it really worth it to sacrifice all 6 of your prongs, half a football helmet, and 40 health just to kill a tentacle 13 seconds faster? That's not to mention how much less viable it gets if you want to kill multiple tentacles. Furthermore, those 13 seconds could have been more than made up for if you had used an acceleration circuit to get to/from the marsh faster.

exactly. that's the thing. it may look flashy killing that one thing quick but using it for damage will end up costing you more time because you have to make armor and healing.
