Recipe - require pig skin change idea!

Recommended Posts

Why not to add new mechanic for pig skin like drying it on dryer to become a leather for using it to all kind of crafts like back pack umbrella and football helmet? would be cool to see this feature in game? - would be more logicly and realistic :D

For regular pig skin crafts this seems kind of unnecessary but drying pig skin into parchment could actually be a really neat resource for potential higher tier Wickerbottom books i think!!

So instead of on papyrus these higher tier books would be written on parchment. Would be very fitting and lessen her extreme dependence on reeds.

It's kind of a funny mechanic to lesson her dependence on reeds don't you think?

Reeds aren't that hard to get, and ironically even though wicker needs a lot of them, she's the most capable of amassing them quickly.

I'm not against a higher tier of book, requiring better ingredients such as pig skins... but also it would make more sense to use those for skins for leather for the book cover, rather than the pages.. but I find that unnecessary and I digress.

Its honestly counterintuitive.

Reworking the books themselves would be a better approach. More books. Better books. With a different functionality -think of Wigfrids songs.

Magical tomes being written on strips of flesh is a common trope.

I'm not denying that at all.

I actually did a little research on parchment because I didn't exactly know the difference between that and papyrus. (I know they're both sheets but didn't know exactly what distinguished them from one another)

Like modern parchment is in majority fiberous. But traditionally, like centuries old has been made of animal skins. Which I did not know and will admit ignorance to.

this is the primitiveness and poverty of the English language in relation to Russian)

Average grammatical gender enjoyer

Ты прям на полном серьезе это заявляешь?

Вот ты знаешь откуда слово жёлудь произошло? А деревня? Адекватной альтернативы к слову "wealth" у нас вообще нет.

Spoiler
