Tim S.
What kinds of horns, antlers and tusks are there? Deerclops: Beefalo: Chester: Bunny: Krampus: Other Imps: No-Eyed-Deer: Goose/Moose: Nox: Grand Forge Boarrior: Infernal Swineclops: Rhinocebro: Gnarwhail: MacTusk: Water Beefalo: Hippopotamoose: Volt Goat: Ancient Guardian: Koalafant: Goat: Pugna: Wyvernling: Bearded Dragon: Pugalisk: Sheep: Dragon: Goblin: Minotaur: Victorian Wortox: Verdant Wortox: Beefalo Costumes: Uncatogerized objects: What we notice, in regards to the previous horns and the items crafted from them, is that items made from horns either keep their color scheme or their shape. Knowing this, can we figure out what horns were used in those items? 1 - Forge Gateway Key: My guess: Made from the horns of the Grand Forge Boarrior. The Infernal Swineclops' horns have the same color, but are way thicker. 2 - Barbed Helmet: My guess: No idea.. 3 - Klaus Sack Key: My guess: No existing mob. Maybe a hypothetical "king" No-Eyed-Deer, but that's not worth thinking about. 4 - Goat Cane: My guess: No existing mob. I say it was inspired by goat horns, but due to their differing color palette, I say the horn is simply made of gold. 5 - Infernal Fire Staff: My guess: No idea. 6 - Pig King Hat: My guess: Beefalo Horns. Pretty obvious. 7 - Ancient Walking Cane: My guess: Nox Horn. The color isn't important obviously, but the shape is the closest match I could identify. 8 - Ancient Key: My guess: Far fetched, but I think the closest match is the Ancient Guardian Horn. Although the shape differs, the color matches quite nicely. 9 - Fossil: My Guess: Impkind Any horns I forgot or any thematic input, feel free to add or correct!! Falkenpelz
12 hours ago, Blue Moth said: merms Merms are related to goats, as we know from the Gorge and if you compare Billy's horns to mermhorns, it kind of makes sense. Also it was confirmed by Klei that Pugna comes from the same world as the survivors, so he is or was most likely human and was either transformed, or wears a horn-headdress. goblinball
Big Woby also has horns, for some very odd reason. Also, while I don’t have screenshots for these, gingerbread vargs have candy cane horns, and the winters feast skin chest also has horns, although these aren’t made out of candy canes.
