have you tried only allowing the lamps to run when the duplicants are there harvesting? motion sensors and such.

No, didn't think that would work that way. But it kinda feels like cheating so I wouldn't.

If you have crahed satelites world trait that works well, I don't know if it's exclusive to this world trait or if you can get satelites on worlds without this trait(in early access there was a satelite on one of the asteroids but I don't know if it is true now).

You get a guaranteed crushed satellite in frozen forest asteroid, also you can get frozen forest with crushed satellite trait, which will generate 4-5 additional satellites.

Though I didn't get mutated seeds in there yet... Bristle blossom is growing in ~200rads/cycle ambient radiation.

But I did get one mutated dasha saltvine from saltvine growing near wild weezwort in ~70 rads/cycle ambient radiation.

I did all the mutations using Crashed Satellite. It took usually two or three plant lifetime to get mutation. Seeing setup from above I think I put less effort in mutating all the seeds than Kliso put into his setup.

With Crashed Satellite You can easily get 1400 rads/cycle.

Here is already abandoned structure I used to get Nosh Sprout and Balm Lily mutations some time ago.

Went with a design based on Francis John's reactor. Using a double wall of gold metal tiles separated by vacuum to isolate the reactor.

Why does the  screenshot show as 0 rads in the vacuum, that a bug?
