Having 1 guaranteed (up to 4 by default settings) per world is not very engaging for a winter mob, so maybe having them arrive on an icecap that attaches to main-land would make them more immersive. Not untill there is a rework to Beefalo taming system. (So never) It's too much of a unfun and tedious chore to tame one and game gives you absolutely no feedback regarding this process and it's buggy. Like i said my beefalo goes into heat for 1 second when entering caves .. then later tries to murder me after being domesticated. No screw that. (Speed Item/Sanity Item) OP wants to lock the already RNG chance of getting a Tusk at all behind a Boss battle, because OP feels it’s too good an item to get from MacTusk, But ever since YoTB- I only use a walking cane when in a boss fight. Thats how the thread became about Beefalo Its also good discussion to bring up so players who arent actually aware of the changes to Beefalo taming, or may not have even known you can tame a Beefalo at all: Learn knew stuffs!
