It takes a lot of power and resources for a single cup of coffee and can only be used by one dupe at a time. Any chance we can make this more of a communal thing? One dupe makes coffee and there are multiple serves available for dupes who want it? Sasza22 Posted January 14, 2021 Share Posted January 14, 2021 I think it`s intended to be this way. The machine is supposed to be exclusive for dupes that need extra morale. For example if you have a few dupes with a lot of skills and the rest just has basic skills. I like that it works for one dupe but adds more morale. It adds variety to recreation machines. Some are better to give little morale to multiple dupes and some better for more to a single dupe. A lot of recreational buildings take up way too much duplicant time and the morale benefit is not worth the time it takes off their day, so if you set up something like a vertical wind tunnel, it ends up using power and duplicants don't get to fully enjoy it. It would work if you could have the morale bonus for multiple days and create a multi-day schedule for the duplicants to account for that. Some bonuses last multpile days, like the hot tub or wind tunnel ones iirc. We just don`t have "weekly" schedules for dupes so it`s hard to take advnatage of that. But if you set the free time after they wake up they will keep using the machine until they are done so for the longer ones they will do the full cycle even with less free time (but enough to start the thing). Then after they got the buff they will just go to work during that time.
