No atmosuits - how do you provide oxygen to astronauts?

With no reed fiber around I can't make atmosuits and to get them, I have to go to space. There seems to be no way of injecting oxygen directly into the rocket, so I'm thinking the only way to supply it is via an atmosuit or an oxygen mask.

How do you guys keep these little fellas on an orbit if they immediately suffocate?

Build some oxygen diffuser or straight up gas canister emptier and empty out some oxygen canisters inside.

Again with the atmo suit obsession. Aside from the space suit theme why would an atmo suit be a solution? It only has a limited oxygen supply too. It's truly a crutch that prevents thinking about alternative solutions.

A container with some oxylite is an option too.

In the shuttle cock pit if the atmosphere suit runs out of oxygen but there's enough oxygen in the cabin they won't expend that oxygen.. meaning you can suspend them forever in space inside the atmosphere suit (apart from food and bathroom). These suits win every time.

Talk about winning the battle and losing the war. The main value of ONI is in playing it, not in "winning" it.

funny, in my last game (I have so many restarts with this DLC as new updates coming surprisingly in a good way frequently) I do not use atmosuits and gas masks at all. And I already colonized all but 6th planet. 

Yes, I have clinic working curing overheat and burns but no one died so far. Dups do not die of COVID either.

Already mentioned here - use gas canister dispenser, oxygen diffuser, etc.

I personally prefer morbs - free and limitless oxygen with proper pressure albeit polluted. If you new to morbs - install one or two outhouses in the pilot module. Put some gas in using method above (morbs do not generate oxygen in vacuum). Do not clean the toilets if they are full!!! After 2.7 (let's say 3) cycles you will have first morbs generated. You can leave it as it is and it will generate more morbs slowly or put some door automation underneath the outdoor toilets to reset after every 3 cycles.
