Coolthulhu has a vast gap between what he thinks he understands and what he actually understands, as exemplified by a number of totally invalid claims he made without demonstrating any of them. He has also clearly demonstrated that he thinks he is right and does not actually seek understanding. That does not cause any onus on me to demonstrate anything. 

Now, I am well acquainted with this behavior from a certain type of student. But there it is not an exchange between peers and that makes it possible to break though the mental blockade. Well, mostly. If it is too persistent, you just have to let them fail the course. So far I had to do that only to one person and he passed the next year without problem.

Nobody knows that you're actually educated on the subject, though. If you haven't provided people a reason to trust you and your judgement, they won't. If you opt out of the discussion with something as condescending as 'There is no reaching some people...' you're just going to exit the conversation looking like a jerk, not having taught anyone anything.

Vaguely, I trust that you know what you're talking about and can back up your claims. Like Coolthulhu, I feel like I'm still waiting for that to happen.

I asked you clear, understandable questions concerning your reasoning. Instead of answers to them, I received whining. Just pathetic whining.

From your posts, it's pretty clear that you're the one who overrates his knowledge.
