Have anyone played oaisse map I have failed 3 times with 200 hrs always temperatures beats me. What's the starts or any good map seed

The key to Oasisse is to push insulating the base first before everything else. Have one dupe research insulated tiles immediately. When insulating, cut off parts that are already hot. Half-ass food initially (just put some Mealwood in planter boxes wherever conditions are cool enough). Do not grow the base beyond what oxygen you get from Oxyferns and stay with them until you have reliable cooling as they do not produce heat. Do not get more dupes at all until the base is insulated and you have food and oxygen solved. For short-term spot-cooling, place Ice Makers outside the base and use the ice inside.

I have gotten one map to long-term survival just using one salt-water geyser as cooling source. Doing that means dupes mainly generate energy but it is possible.

Base eventually either get hot >30 so mealwood stop producing and sending no presence of water gyser or even water is so hard to deal with in mid game everything is hot what would you do you need the map is set to fail I haven't seen anyone crossing rocket building yet to be fair it's harsh man you need at least one thing cold

If you go Mealwood, you can have that running for a long, long time with ice made outside for cooling. Make sure to place the farm within insulated tiles though. The next step is to get a reliable water source, hence push exploration after the initial rush to insulate. You can send dupes without exo-suits into all areas below the 75C scalding limit. You will also find more water outside.

for any hot map, instead of rushing insulation/doing unnecessary gimmics, just get an early rancher and go for hatches. No need to insulate your base, get ice machines, vacuum sealing etc etc. You could probably have a rancher by cycle 14~15 and continued barbeque for 20 people by cycle 50. Until then, dirt bars or muckroots etc. It's honestly really simple.

There are reasonable temperature biomes beyond the desert.  If your home biome starts to heat up, perhaps consider moving your farms out there.

Vacuum insulation is not that difficult and is highly effective to prevent heat spilling in to the base.  If you don't know how to do that or you aren't comfortable with it, then researching insulation and encircling your base is a good idea.  Don't be afraid to cut out a section of your home biome if it is to hot.

Build your major heat producing buildings outside the insulation.  There are usually cooler parts of the desert which are safe for your dupes to be in.

Don't build things out of sandstone in your base.  It is all hot and you don't want it in your base.  Build with igneous rock.

Well, that could be an interesting challenge, as the Oxyferns only work up to 40C and there is no starting Algae on Oasisse.

why bother with oxyferns when you can just go directly to electrolyzers. it's not like the 70c O2 would be a problem for your non-existent farms.

Well, but this is Oasisse. Keeping the base below 70C with that approach may not be that easy. Hatches only survive to up to 70C.

After 30 cycles of this, I think it can work. But it is more effort than just insulating the base and you will need cooling eventually, as hatches only survive to 70C and dupes to 75C. And at that time you need to insulate the base anyways. What this approach allows is going initially with ElCheapo "insulation", i.e. just digging once around the base.

Make a vaccum wall.     I beat oasis by creating a double   airlock    and leave a center gap to be a vaccum and then just dig a vaccum layer around the base.  U don't need to get insulation   since the vaccum is the insulation. Best way to do this is to fill all the blocks that isn't vaccum. That way once u have a small vaccum entry point    you can hallow out the areas to expand ur vaccum.

Insulation tiles eventually will change tempature and heat will eventually creep thru.    Vacuum  is 100 percent insulation.

My best Oasis seed so far: OASIS-A-1825239121-WLH (after seed generation change patch).
Geodormant, Vulcanos, Mixed Boulders :)

I just love beating temperatures, not easy but doable :) This seed is so great because... cycle 263 and no water or poluted water gayser found yet. Definitely most fun map to play with my current 500h with this game :)

And yeah, insulation is very important :) One layer for farms inside base, surrounded by second layer which is your base :)Keeping farms cool is the key :)

The amount of time it takes to heat the starting biome to 70c is well over a couple hundred cycles. I've been doing this on every oasisse base and new hatch spawn from eggs at 20c so if you're doing ranches that's additional cooling.

Startinig biome starts out at ~20c, the neighbouring biome around ~80c. Think of the time it'll take to heat the entire region to >70c. Actually i'm not sure it'll ever happen.

In any case, not an issue.

As you will be generating some heat inside anyways, you will eventually need some cooling. A single layer of insulated tiles is quite enough then.

Here is a pretty easy Oasisse map: OASIS-A-1903852077-0

It has a cold slush geyser directly above the starting biome. No idea wha else it has yet.

Alot of the heat inside is deleted using critters.  Hatches and voles.  And got a few wort.   I moved all the big heat stuff generators outside of the base. So the guys go outside to do any heat building.  Batteries are also outside the base.   Inside the base is for keep plants at a good temp and pressure.
