Help - my duplicants keep getting outside without atmosuits!

Recommended Posts

In 95% of cases they take the atmosuit and leave the base protected. But when I'm not looking, occasionally, I get an alert "SCALDED" and to my surprise I see a duplicant without the atmo suit!

I've spend good two hours of my life watching the duplicants (even setting a watch cam on one for a couple of cycles to see their damn secret passage), checking all the doors, checking if atmo checkpoints are on, and checking if my tubes don't end abruptly and allow to exit in-between bases.

I HAVE FOUND NOTHING! I'm desperate.

Please, please. Help me :(

I include the save file.

The Hospital Error occured.sav

Was playing around with this and just watched Meep exit the transit tube here, where the two crossings are stacked.

Edit:  Just tried again and watched him do it again.  Then I deconstructed both crossings, and the bottom one was apparently overlapping a regular tube somehow.  I deconstructed that and rebuilt the crossings and it seems to have closed that hole.  No idea if there are more, but I'd start there.

Load the save file you posted.  Put ARI on the follow cam.  About one minute in, he enters a second tube transport and somehow jumps through the tube onto a ladder (bypassing a suit checkpoint) and then gets scalded shortly thereafter.  Maybe rebuilding the tube transport will fix it.  Good Luck!

I guess it might sound too simple but I'll say it anyway since nobody meantioned it. Have you used the "show pathing" button? If it doesn't show any unintended path, it is probably a "serious" problem. Also, mods conflict? A plastic tile undearneath a crossing seems rather impossible in vanilla

Having not used transport pipes ever, I would have thought that that would of been at least half the point of a crossing, to let them cross.
