Quick question about repetitive eating with warly

Recommended Posts

Warly comments on each dish how much he liked it.

PREPARED = "Delectable!",
SAME_OLD_1 = "I'd prefer some variety.",
SAME_OLD_2 = "So bland.",
SAME_OLD_3 = "I want to eat something different.",
SAME_OLD_4 = "I can't stand this food.",
SAME_OLD_5 = "Enough already!",
TASTY = "Tres magnifique!",
COOKED = "Not very palatable.",
DRIED = "A bit dry.",
RAW = "Blech. Completely lacking in every way.",

I don't know if the latter four are actually used in the game.

Quick answer.

Helps, right? Now you know exactly the answer. NOT!

Please post your actual question or at least a hint in the title so other forum users can see your question from the list without having to open it. Imagine everyone would post "Quick question" if they have a question. The forum would look like this:

And now a Proper answer, which fimmatek answered while I was raging about already.

As a quick addition:

Those are probably indicating how many of that meal he already ate, cause his efficiency diminishes with every meal he eats in succession.

So you can see if a meatball of which he ate 3 today or a honeyham, of which he ate one today is the better food.

By "the latter 4" I meant the quotes for tasty, cooked, dried and raw food. Because he can't eat those, only prepared dishes, so I guess these quotes are only to prevent some "missing string" bugs to happen?

Ah, derp.

Either that or maybe those were intended to be his exclamations when trying to eat them, yet he never got implemented to say them.

Does he only comment that after he ate the food or are you able to identify it by examining as well?

The one for "tasty" seems to be for foods exclusive to Warly. He said that one when I had him eat the glow berry mousse. The others are carried over from Shipwrecked, I believe, where he was able to eat non-crockpot stuff. Warly got more picky when he came to Don't Starve Together. I guess he assumes the other people he's with will help supply him with enough ingredients that he doesn't have to settle for eating anything but properly cooked food.

I don't think there is a way to tell how long ago you ate a certain meal. I think someone could probably make a mod that puts a timer on meals you've eaten, but the only way to know is to just remember when you ate a meal last.
