Dreckos doenst seem to fit rust biome at all.

Hi ppl idk if you guys feel the same but the game seems to be needing a critter for that biome outside of dreckos or maybe in sinergy with them? They fit perfectly in the caustic. Someone suggested in another topic to add a spider to make silk/reed fibers in the forest biome " would remove the need of dreckos in the rust biome" then this biome could have like a metallic flea that turns rust into gold amalgam? " another lacking resource" or if gold route not wanted they could eat salt and make slime?  " make slime available in other maps that way?

Have it turn iron into rust so we can continue feeding the rust oxydizer throughout the game.

Turn it into algae.  Lots and lots of algae, because pacu are voracious.

Also good point the always kinda niche building are even more niche now a decent slime producer would solve that.

Yup.  I noticed   the Rust biome spawning dreckos as well.     The problem here is  dreckos  need to be above 15degrees at least to be livable condition.  And the rust biome is   less than 0.   They'll eventually die before you even reach them.

Saw an idea that there might be a new drecko morph. It's not likely that they were put there as a time sensitive goal considering they once added bedrock to the surface so that comets wouldn't put a timer on your game.
