Junksteel
I'd love being able to rebuild natural tiles like sandstone from the temperate bubble just for aesthetics. One of the things that bothers me in ONI is as the game progresses the map starts to look ugly and messy. Being able to fix it with a more organic touch would be nice. SharraShimada
You can do this in sandbox mode.
Junksteel
It adds mass to the map. It would be cool to manage resources normally.
Yunru
It'd also be nice for things like Hatches (although that could cause automation complexity since buried hatches aren't counted as in the room).
Guinaro
Was going to suggest this aswell. Especially now that we have "Rooms" like Park and Nature Preserve. It would be nice to be able to construct our parks at a place of our own choice. Also since Wheezeworts and Oxyferns can grow wild without resource consumption, it would be nice, especially early game for oxyferns that you can actually relocate them to a place of your choice and still let them grow wild. Without needing to fertilize them. Relocating can be done by uses of a storage bin or with pips, as seeds can plant themselves after a while. So natural tiles, could simply be part of the Base Tile entries of materials you can choose. Furthermore it would give us 3 options for Farming: 1. The long natural cycle: slow, but no resource consumption 2. Farmed tiles: Resource consumption, some work for dupes, but faster. 3. Nutrient Fertilization: Same Resource Consumption, double speed and needs dedicated duplicant. Choices are good!
