Who is best character to survive apocalypse

Help I die a lot and it makes me angry. What character can I survive in apocalypse and when does apocalypse end

WX is the best character in any case.

The Aporkalypse does not end. You must find the Aporkalypse Ruins, which contain the Aporkalypse Calender, in order to stop it.

Ok wx because I picked wolfgang because I thought he was the best character be I died and lost my world which I finally bought house. How will I find the ruins to stop the apocalypse are they somewhere special? I spent all my time in pig city collecting poop and buying food and it was already hard to survive

You have to find poisoned rainforest on your Island. There will be several ruin entrances. You need ruin entrance that has herald statue on top of it. Go through ruin and find exit. You will be on 5th island now. There you have to find another ruin entrance. And in that ruin there will be special clock, which is able to stop aporkalypse.

 

 

Btw Wendy is also very strong character, because her ghost deals maximum damage during aporkalypse. And he can tank different Creatures.

I don't know about the best but WIlba has to be the worst.

Good luck getting 300 hunger everyday without crock pots and shops.

If I'm not mistaken, Aporkalypse is not endless for first encounter from few updates ago

although I never try before, because I just reverse the clock everytime before it happens

you may try keep running all the time, bats will stop chasing after you for certain distance you've escaped

and despawn after Aporkalypse end.

but you have to keep your food stock enough on you, buy tons of food at day 59,

WX-78 will help since it takes no penalty to eat spoil food

soldier mants' running speed is fast, so don't run  near or into mant hill as possible as you can.

 

For sure, stop the clock is the best wise choice, but you got to prepare few gunpowders

go to the ruin mentioned above, find cracked door,

and then explode it using gunpowder ( nitre + charchoal + egg from forest tree/ feeding bird,

or 20 oincs each coconut-boom from second pig island shop )

if you are unlucky, you may need use few gunpowders until you find the clock

I recommend Wagstaff, you can spectate the crack with basic goggle if it leads into a room so more gunpowders are saved from wasting

In addition to what FeNnix said:

• you will likely need a gas mask in order to navigate the poisoned rain forest, unless the ruins entrance happens to be right on the edge of the forest that you can see without entering it.
• You are very likely to need explosives such as gun powder to find the aporkalypse calendar, since it is usually hidden behind suspicious cracks. You might need several portions of gun powder, since not all suspicious cracks will lead you to the calendar (in fact not all will even be hiding doors, you can test that with a magnifying glass before blasting). If the rooms with the cracks also have pillars, then you can mine the pillars in order to open the cracks instead of blasting.
• The 5th island is likely to be overrun with snap teeth. You will either have to run past them very quickly, or bring a lot of fighting equipment.
• I have often found the second ruins on the 5th island to be separated from the first ruins by a lake, so be prepared to have to cross water. You might want to precraft a boat before looking for the 5th island.
• Because of all the above mentioned difficulties, I recommend starting to look for the calendar way before the aporkalypse starts. Also, arriving on the 5th island during rainy season can be tricky, because it will be overrun not only by snaptooths but also by rabid beetles. I usually try to find the calendar either during the calm season starting at day 33, or during lush season after day 55 (although that leaves you little time to find it).
• If you play as WX, get enough overcharge for several days before you set off. It helps with the darkness in the ruins, and with the speed of finding the calendar.
• The first aporkalypse will go on until you stop it with the calendar. All the subsequent ones will eventually end by themselves (I do not know how long they last).

Close but not quite. You need a magnifying glass and gunpowder too.
