Idea: The Black Market & Thief Item

Hey guys,

I love this game so far. I thought it might be a cool addition to include some extra content surrounding the swanky thief, shopping, and a new related item.

First, new item addition:  Swanky Cloak

  • Requires:  1x Swanky Hat, 2x Cloth, 6x Peacock Feathers;  Alchemy Engine
  • Effects: 
    • When worn, any enemies currently aggro against the player become passive (except for bosses)
    • Reduces aggro of player by 50% for all enemies, including beatles
    • Special ability: when worn with the Swanky Hat, grants player access to The Black Market

New Shop: The Black Market

Location:

  • In a rare, 5-10% drop, thief pig stash boxes will contain an extra map with an "X" on one of the existing pig houses either in the first pig city or pig royal city.
  • The marked house will not appear any different from other houses in situations during the day
    • At night time on new moons or full moons only, the house will light up with a small peculiar light on the front door. If approached by the player, the light will shut off (similar to pig houses in RoG).
    • If the player is wearing both the Swanky Hat and Swanky Cloak, player has ability to approach and enter the house.

Black Market Items & Features:

  • Shop owner will be the pig thief, dressed in full garb sitting behind the counter
  • Items: Random assortments of weapons/armor (tier 2 or 3 only), hats, arcane and oddities - these will be at a discounted price from existing merchants
    • Shop will also have a random selection of rare items - ancient or obsidian craftables that start at 70 oincs each. Also chance for random items to appear that are not otherwise sold or craftable (ie. walking cane). How about a very rare display of Krampus Sack for 200 oincs?
  • Locked Thief Stash Chest: Royal items such as the Royal Scepter and Jeweled Truffle can be sold to the Pig Thief in the shop for a key to the shop's Stash Box (locked chest in a corner). The chest will contain a random, filled assortment of valuable items  including ALL stolen oincs the thief has previously taken from the player. The upside for this is allows the player to determine if they want to go down the path of delivering items to the queen pig or the infamy route of selling them on the black market.

 

Overall, just think this might be a cool little addition to really round out the game's economy and make the pig cities seem more complex and alive!

how about the weapons and armors gets cheaper according to the durability of the item or even the itens dont change the price but its cheaper than other shops,but the durability is random.the pig is sellig stolen from pigs that areadly used.
