The game needs more biomes, and the temperature system isn't balanced

There aren't many biomes in the game Klei. The world is made up of swamps, and chlorine biomes mostly. Sure there is space, and the molten underground, but, they aren't the main area of the game, you dont spend most of your time there, but you do, at the other 2 biomes. Ice biomes are scarce, and melt easily

I'd like to see more biomes, and preferably cold-er biomes, most of the map's area is made up of hot biomes, and i am not a fan of having to deal with heat, but not with cold. Heat poses a challenge, you need to insulate your base from it, cold just exists.

The heat and cold of the world should be at war with each other, right now, its just mostly heat, fighting small amounts of cold, and overpowering it. Cold needs to pose a challenge too

To be honest i don't see heat overpowering cold. You can maje most biomes cold droppin all water from cold biome to it. Main thing is that gase get temp from liquid liquid get temp from solid. If you drop cold water to hot sone you will get cold zone and a little bit hotter water. Also it is crucial fir my games not to break abbysylite and keep starting temp of any biome. Organic biomes for example are mostly habitatable without cooling. There should be some more biomes but in my opinion heat/cold system is quitr ok.

I'd like to see more cooling alternatives in the early game. I don't want to destroy the ice biomes by removing the wheezeworts, but usually I don't have a choice. Unless I find an early slush geysir.

We could use more biomes but it`s a complex task to add more. A biome needs it`s own minerals, plants and critters. The plants need to be used for something, the critters need to have their lifecycles, diets, morphs and produce something useful. That`s a ton of work and i doubt they will do that considering they are doing the final polishing phases of the game. I`m sure we will get more biomes in future DLCs tho.

The heat management is one of the main challanges of the game. I found that getting early insulation and a few wheezeworts coupled with putting your generators outside the main base works just fine. Generating oxygen in ice biomes near an AETN is also helpful and gets rid of some excess hydrogen as well.

Ice biome don`t get warm by themselves. Removing wheezeworts doesn`t harm them too much. They can remain cold for 200-300 cycles unless you remove the abyssalite layers around them completely or run hot water through them (as i tend to do).

Count me in for wanting new biomes.  More materials, more critters, more plants (and redistributing existing plants where appropriate), and more hazards would go a long way towards making the game feel fresh again.

Usually, in ice biomes, you can find those Anti Entropy Thermo-Nullifiers and they are very, very, very useful when it comes to cooling gases around. They only need 10g/s of hydrogen which you can make with an Electrolyzer, without forgetting that an Electrolyzer produces enough Hydrogen to power 11 of these Anti Entropy Thermo-Nullifiers.
