For those who do not know it, Q.O.L stands for Quality of Life. For starters, I think what will be added will be:
- Fences and wooden doors
-The domestication of Beefalo and saddles, probably the brush
-Mushroom Planter

My idea was to have Beefalo's breeding, which would get Beefalo's milk, their delicious meat from a slaughterhouse, and make it possible for the Beefalos to reproduce faster to speed up meat production, thanks to the grass transformed into hay. And finally, to be able to mount the Beefalo, which will necessarily be added.

Here's a very simple QoL change. The ability to refuel the lazy forager amulet with nightmare fuel.

Magiluminescence got a change like this back when shipwrecked was in the work. So why not do it for the less useful amulet between the two?

I did not know we could refuel the lazy amulet in DST, it's cool.

Honestly, I think all magical items should be refuelable with nightmare fuel.

even the deconstruction staff/ construction amulet?

The Deconstruction Staff & Construction Amulet are mostly used as dulplication tools so making them refuelable would allow you to craft (mostly) any item only with Nightmare Fuel.

The actually only items where these items are worth it to use them for are:

  • Thulecite Suits: Grants 3 Thulecite & 2 Nightmare Fuel for 1x Deconstruction & 1x Construction
  • Pan Flute: Resets usages for 1x Deconstruction & 4x Cut Reeds
  • The Lazy Explorer: Resets usages for 1x Deconstruction & 1x Construction & 1x Orange Gem (Only useful if you don't have a 2nd not used Walking Cane)
  • Any Staff that requires >1 Ancient Gem: "Grants" 1 Ancient Gem for 1x Construction
  • Any Item crafted with a Boss Item (Except placed Houndius): Returns the Boss Item(s)
  • Weather Pain: Grants 5x Down Feather for 1x Deconstruction & 1x Construction (Only if >90% Durability -> Max 1x used)  OR  Resets usages for 1x Deconstruction & 1x Construction & 4x Down Feather (Goose/Goose + 5x Moslings drop about 15.66 Feathers)

DST only:

  • Thick Fur: Grants 2x Thick Fur for 1x Deconstruction & 1x Construction & 15x Fur Tuft  OR  5 Thick Fur with 2x Deconstruction & 2x Construction & 1x Thick Fur
  • Scaled Flooring: Grants 5 Scales for 6x Deconstruction

Using it on anything else (Pig Huts for example) is waste of ressources because finding Green Gems is way harder than to find any other ressources. It's mostly same as digging Mushrooms up to get another Mushroom (Only useful for Speedrunners).

But Pan Flutes are easily renewable in SW and Hamlet; Scales, Deerclops Eyeball and Walrus Tusk can be bought for 30-50 Oincs so it's best to save your Green Gems for creating Thulecite or Down Feathers (1x Weather Pain grants you 200 Oincs worth of Down Feathers) or to reduce the usage of Ancient Gems.

Thick Fur and Scaled Flooring are DST-only.
Pan Flutes were easily renewable in shipwrecked through trawling. Now it's even better because dead mandrakes can be bought in shops. Still useful though, because deconstructing flute gives you mandrake that is alive (if you wish to have some as decoration or whatever).
