The Roc is annyoing and suggestions.

Recommended Posts

I just died a second time to the Roc. The first time I was unprepared and didn't know his legs were instant kills. This second time however I was actively trying to avoid it but since it won't fall unless you're right under I let it come and tried doubling back, which doesn't work and killed me. I was about 22-23 days doing real well when this very suddenly ended that.

The shadow is a bad indicator of where his legs will be and he flies down so quickly you have no time to react before you're squashed. I suggest having the Roc naturally fly down after enough pass overs and have him fly down slower to give more of a chance to avoid it.

Losing the whole world is a very very harsh punishment for not dodging correctly, something you'd only learn with experience. Sorry if I sound rude, I'm honestly salty about losing everything so quickly and wanted to just stop playing after that. Other new players probably have the same problem, which I think is bad. If anyone sees this and listens thank you, and if I'm a whining baby that's ok too.

It's not Roc's fault but yours.

Roc's shadow will usually line up with you walking meaning that if you just keep going foreward it won't stomp you

That's what I've learned, but I had to die and lose everything to learn it. I'm saying that it should be easier to see where he'll stop and avoid it, because being instant killed is not fun when you're starting out and don't know what something does. It's an annoying death that sets back hours of play time.

Hey that's the entire point of this game. You die and lose everything multiple Times untill you learn. Or you watch gameplay and tutorials.

I've also lost a great world becasue I forgot Roc's legs move backwards if you guide its head between its legs

Oh come on, let's all agree it shouldn't be instakill but just deal enough damage so that when >75% healed and >75% helmet you can survive. Losing a world at day 20+ (that's over 2 hours of playing) because of an instakill is tough, but seeing how you can't even practice avoiding the legs without spending 20+ days, is just annoying.

Ummm… no. It's a giant bird, it will crush you if you allow it to. That's the whole point of it. I survived my 1st BFB no problem

it does 1000 damage if you have a football helmet and a log suit you can survive as long as your character has atleast 200 hp if you have tin armor as well you can survive without the suit
