Hmm i got a Some questions 

Question 1 : Will you be Able to Unlock Charcters In Multiplayer?

Question 2 : What happns When you Die And others are Alive do u turn into a ghost or respawn?

Question 3 : Will Mods Be allowed In The Multiplayer

Question 4 : Would the Owner of the Match be Able to Kick players? And Ban from there Match

So then after that video release. . . Is it safe to say this game is Not Officially Coming This Summer?

 

No: Summer lasts until the Autumn Equinox, which is on September 23. A technicality, but true all the same (and weeks we'll need to make Don't Starve Together as ready for primetime as possible) :-)

 

I should mention, too, that September 23 is the date that we're aiming to get the game into the hands of the first adopters of the closed beta on. It won't be available to everyone then.

I honestly don't care how long it takes to come out, you guys take all the time you need

I'm still having fun with ROG, but assuming Alpha does get released late summer, game will be Officially Coming in the Fall.   :-)  Topic/Announcement misleading is all.  

 

DST will be awesome, We will all just wait and dream until then.

I dunno maybe it's just me but it sounds kind of rushed. Is it only going to be just multiplayer with no additional game stuff (like new mobs/modes/etcetc)?  I mean it's fine if it's just that, but I was kinda hoping for some new goals or creatures/objects/modes for multiplayer people to play with.   It's fine either way, just kinda surprised how fast you guys want to put this out.

Again, there will be no multiplayer-only content. If they decide otherwise, they will sticky that. But they don't want a haves vs have not's people who play multiplayer/PvP get this only thing. All people should have the same objectives in procurement, but different ways in doing so when with multiple players. The only game exception is death makes you a ghost who could revive. That's it so far.

I greatly admire the quality of the game, every single detail, practically non existing bugs or technical problems. I know that you want to deliver a proper multiplayer experience but...

First of all,

 

Don't Starve is, without any doubt, one of the best video games I've ever played in my life.

I greatly admire the quality of the game, every single detail, practically non existing bugs or technical problems. I know that you want to deliver a proper multiplayer experience but...

I like the idea but PVP would ruin the game:P 

 

can someone make a story like wilson used the knowledge maxwell gave him to trick wilson and wilson is having trouble surviving in the ds world so he makes a portal to bring someone else into his world that he is in? someone should make a story in this sub thread:P

Seriously though, Stop being afraid. It will be fun. and if not? Then keep playing SP. It is literally the easiest thing in the world to do. It takes more effort to whine about something that HASN'T EVEN HAPPENED YET, than it does to keep playing single player. Stop and think about that with your brain...

 

You are not a successful video game developer. They are. 

 

Shut up and let them do their thing. 

 

In the meantime, I'll be throwing bags of money at them.

 

And yes, If I find you in the world and you are starving, I will **** your base.
