Hence why 99% of games are far more expensive on console. We pay a lot more for a game than PC players. Take ark survival for example in my countries currancy (ZAR) its R105 on PC and R800 on PS4. If you expand a game to another platform you better be prepared for all its benefits and consequences. Dont give me your PC master race BS. I know PC is far superior to console but I dont like it when one platform gets neglected in favor of another. If you charge a platform full price then you better deliver at full value simple as that. also dont give me this bs about sony and microsoft that make it harder for devs to patch games being the reason console is neglected. There are many games that run a lot better and have way more console focus than PC. Despite what you say. Look at games like call of duty specifically call of duty ghosts. Ghosts ran pathetically on even the most high end PC's because it was so badly ported and had such little focus as opposed to the console versions. And many other console games that were made for console then ported to PC. Fact is the platfrom is irrelevant its up to the devs to put the effort in to porting the game to the other platforms.

I play on PS4. The fix the devs were talking about sounds very much like something that will only be possible on PC

if i had a decent PC and friends that play it on PC I would have gotten this game on PC without a monents hesitation. Trust me there is no comparrison. The PC version is light years ahead of what the console version is.

I understand what you saying but as a console player it really is frustrating. The PC version already gets so much more love than the console version that at times i really do feel as if the console versions are just a means by which they extend their funding. There are so many things that the console version lacks and many of which coudl be very easily fixed/changed. I have made severall suggestions in the ps4 section but guess other things are more important. Anyway i really dont want to sound like i hate klei. Dont starve is an awesome game and the devs for the most part are very committed to communicating with players on the forums. But i really would like to see more console support as we do pay full price for the game so i believe under those circumstances we are entitled to equal focus/attention. And i am not saying that they are lazy or something for not adding against the grain to existing worlds however i am certain it is possible. Not saying it is easy but i am 100000% sure it is possible.

so your sollution then is to stop playing and go play another survival game like arc survival? That makes great marketing sense on kleis side? Lets hinder players from becomming fully invested in playing untill the full game is out and lose them to competitors games like ark survival. im sorry im starting to sound whiny now. I just hate it when i have a legitimant complaint and people tell me that i have nothing to complain about. Its just frustrating soending so much time in something only to basically be told it was all for nothing essentially.

Not sure if thats possible. Doubt it will be but if it is then great but i wont get my hopes u on that as it seems like a stetch to say the least

I work 8/5 every day. I have spent a lot of time building my world with my gf. We are quite happy with our base but there is still lots to do. When i saw this update announced i thought wow that looks awesome cant wait to get it. Now i find out i may as well take a torch and burn my base down and start a whole new world if i want to get access to the new content? It took us almost 2 months of playing almost every day to get to where we are and theres still lots we want to do. Seems pretty crazy to expect us to throw that all away. And im sure you will say something like "no one is forcing you to, its entirely optional" it is not optional when you have a full time job and have spent 2 months playing just to be told "if you want the new stuff go start again."

Doubt it. I am on ps4 and they probably have a tutorial that will only apply for PC players. So i guess once again ps4 players will get shafted in favor of pc players even though we still pay full price for the game.

Wtf? Why must we start a new world to get the against the grain content. My gf and I have been building up a base with some friends and are nearly on day 1000. We put a lot of time into our world. None of us have the time to start a new world all over every time a new update comes out if we want to get the new content. I dont understand why a new reign they were able to add the new content to existing worlds and now they are not. I find this extremely frustrating as what is the point in envesting so much time into a server just so you can start all over again each time a new content update comes in. Some of us have jobs and cant afford to sit at home all day and keep starting new worlds.

Or you can just run around holding a dark sword.

I can confirm i have this problem too in caves. Rollbacks do not ever work for me in caves. Every time i click rollback in a cave the text that says "rolling back in 5 seconds" just fades out and nothing happens. And after the second or third attempt the game will crash and when i restart it, it will have rolled back 2-4 days

not sure about the laughing but I definitely have heard a very feint type of scream, sounded like a female scream but not a scream for help sounded more sinister/demonic if that makes sense. I have only heard it maybe 3 or 4 times out f my hundreds of hours playing the game but I am certain that I wasnt imagining it. It sounded extremely far away when I heard it and left me feeling very eerie and uncomfortable.

doubt it will help. From my experience every ally I have had in DS will only be trapped behind a wall until you move about 2 screens away from the ally then it will teleport closer to you so walls probably wouldnt work.

meh Ill wait till RoG comes out on ps4 before I start a new world again.
