Door turning to metal

This would be the second time i've seen this.  Once on the same map a long time ago while I was deconstructing a door and then randomly this one.

Happened again after going back a few cycles.  This instance seems to be when rock is left in the way of the door when it is closing.

It happens a lot in debug. It seems to be if a block that was meant to drop doesnt drop quick enough the game registers it as still being the "tiles material" and you end up with that.
