  4. Cooling water is usually unnecessary. For O2 production its better to cool O2 as its much faster. Plants also can consume hot water without any problem. They care only about gas they are sitting on
  5. Based of Anis's concepts. Left Torch I: All light sources last longer. Left Torch II: All light sources last alot longer. Use your scientific knowledge to temporarly increase the longevity of fire based structure light sources by right clicking them by 33%. Right torch I: All light radius increased. Eight torch II: All light radius greately increased. Use your scientific knowledge to temporarly increase the light radius of fire-based structure light sources by 33% by right clicking them at the cost of sainity. (Campfires and stuff) Torch Toss: Be able to toss torches, lanterns and morning stars. (Morning stars can do damage at cost of durability) Beard Insulation and beard growth are the same, but condenced to 2 skills each. Beard storage is the same. The next 2 skills are incompatable with each other. Frizzled Scientist: Your beard conducts static, using an electric weapon allows Wilson to store it up damage in it for each hit he lands. He releases all the damage at once in a decent aoe when he is hurt. The amount it can hold depends on his beard stage. The aoe is larger the more electric damage you hold. Stage 1: Holds 150 damage. Stage 2: holds 300 damage. Stage 3: Holds 600 damage. Damage stored degrades quickly outside of combat. The more damage you have stored and you deal, the faster it increases, so it is best to store as much as possible for max dps. Maybe too advanced for Wilson but it seemed funny. Beard Alchemmy: Grow resources on your beard by brewing potions, this resets the beards growth cycle and their nsxt harvest only will yield that resource. •Berry/juicy berry potion. 1 berry/ 2 juicy berries, 2 beard hair. Warning, gobblers will be aggressive. You gain 6 berries/ 12 juicy berries for a maxed beard. ▪Flint potion. 1 flint 2 beard hair. Same yield as berries. ▪Glowberry potion. 1 lesser glowberry 2 beard hair, yields 3 lesser glowberries on the 2nd stage, but instead yields 3 large glowberries on the final stage. You get the concept of how potions are made and what they do. This is meant for a passive playstyle. Transmutations: New spider transmutation to transmute spider drops. Those are all my ideas for now.
  6. Oh man, as much as I like them good old fashion witchhunts for griefers and impersonators. This will obviously increase entitlement/gatekeeping into the game which inturn will drive away the players, I can see alot of people abusing the mechanic simply because they don't like an individual, heck people already do those sorts of things like falsly claiming others as griefers to get the majority to kick them out because lets be real no one likes a griefer. And what are you going to do if these people decide to show "evidence" that YOU were stalking them? introduce a reputation system? literally 1984, but seriously this implementation will open up a whole new can of worms. It may sound good on paper like when politicians introduces tax cuts but you have to think about the long run too. But if you are really being stalked by an individual this shouldn't be Klei's problem rather report them to Steam as it sounds like a user to user problem.
  7. In early game I tend to use farms as they dont need any labor and also dont need skilled dupe (which may be a problem at start). Also farm is faster to build In late game... It doesnt really matter as there is abundance of recourses anyway...
  8. Unfortunately, late game with many dupes, its either that or wild farms. You just don't have enough water to run a very large farm. If you luck out on water, then you have even less to work with. Not to mention, farming can be very labor intensive.
  9. you could try to do BQ 1st/after ruins since you only need a few blue shrooms for them if you don't kill clockworks, since their loot is mostly worthless blue shrooms ig
  10. Cool ideas, but the blueprint duplicator is really unhealthy for the game. It shouldnt be locked to a character especially.
  11. you can find videos of people killing him using weather pains etc. on controller even before they changed the targeting and how lazy explorer works you can see controls on the screen when looking at videos of people playing using a controller, people also seem to be able to swap 2 items before FW reaches them after a bone cage, which is fast enough for the strat then tell me how console controls make the strat harder, i'd be interested in hearing that wolfgang being better still applies to switch and i know that people were killing him using weather pains even before they changed their targeting, i don't respond to anything that only applies to platforms that i don't play on
  12. Thats unrealistic most people are not going to kill bee queen super fast, and alot of people play multiplayer where there is only so much beans to go around.
  13. Yeah by killing him with exploits (lureplant). Or setting up catapults in the arena. I mean no offence but until you actually play the switch version or any version requiring a controller you just sound like a silly goose trying to assume what the gameplay is like. You can't just "refuse to believe" my experience or anyone elses experience on consoles without any personal experience yourself. Do you see the problem with you even commenting here and why klei have separate forums to begin with?

  15. people were killing him on consoles before brightshade staff got added, you know, i also refuse to believe that the controls are that bad that you can't swap between 1 pair of items for hand and body slot (dark sword and thule club and night armor and magi in case of wolfgang 1 cycle, only twice during the entire fight without much hurry), walk and hit whatever's closest to you they still show up in "unread content" and the text of my message still applies to switch

  18. My solution is give ice crystalizer a really cool animation take about 1.5 secs so wanda can run away before the ice effect deal damage.

You have never played on console or with a controller so your opinion about console gameplay is not coming from a place of any relevant experience hence klei shouldn't take your opinion on board for these matters. Why are you even on the switch forums anyway when you dont have the switch version? Lol
  20. Yeah the fact you are so conditioned to accept being forced into the caves to protect your surface base is ok... Just shows how much value the ice crystalizer has atm. I enjoy not needing to base in the oasis and not worrying about wildfires while hanging around my surface base during summer. Ice crystalizer really deserves its downside lol
  21. That's theoretically true. But not if there is lag. You lose all of freedom when you have lag, instead of losing efficiency. Not really. Hunger games don't have stuns and the fights are even worse. All you can do is tank each other untill your hp gets low and you sceddadle. At least with stuns you can kite, or semi-lock your target in place for a moment to send few hits in and hopefully kill the guy. And I also tried pvp rebalance mods that slow down players when they are hit. Now underdogs can't even fight back their only option is to face tank and guess what? Whoever has better gear wins with no skill involved. You missed my point. The possibilities I mentioned was exactly to change the problems you pointed out, but not with the solutions you had played with before. Separating stun from attack, and players can specialize in stun. This means the person with worse gears but stun ability can escape the situation despite not capable of straight confrontation. This is called kiting. Kiting means the strong players are disabled (slowed, stunned, blinded, etc) from landing his strong attacks because they can't touch enemies, this gives the weak man room for creative strategies. This is common in every rts game, I believe. By default, the strong man in DST has both strong attacks and stuns, and that's not normal among rts.
  22. I mean if we're being fair people generally don't like a character sucking unless it's intended like Wes while I don't feel like she's a bad character I do feel like she could stand to be better rewarded for the time and effort you put into her.
  23. I just got the game after spending 5 hours on the demo. I really enjoy the game and despite my hesistancy towards Early Access games, I know Klei has a good track record in addition to their "Why Early Access" post on the Steam Store comforted me to purchase this game. So I am wondering: What kind of feedback or suggestions are the devs interested in? I am sure there will (eventually) be thousands of weapon recommendations (Bow&Arrows plz :3) so just wanted an official or semi-official statement on what the devs are interested from the community? (If you want ideas for a Bow and Arrow I got you just fyi.)
  24. Kiting players is possible. In dst most creatures including auto attacking players use their attack the instance your hitbox gets in range. In other words, moving the tiniest bit will immediately get you outside of range, and doing a counter attack fast enough will stun your enemy letting you kite with zero damage. It's not viable however because if youre enemy is an actual threat he won't attack you with simple melee. Not really. Hunger games don't have stuns and the fights are even worse. All you can do is tank each other untill your hp gets low and you sceddadle. At least with stuns you can kite, or semi-lock your target in place for a moment to send few hits in and hopefully kill the guy. And I also tried pvp rebalance mods that slow down players when they are hit. Now underdogs can't even fight back their only option is to face tank and guess what? Whoever has better gear wins with no skill involved. You should try deathmatch that's really what the topic is. DST PvP outside of it has no hope, all the rebalance mods will fail always. Core issues can't be changed.

The info you have provided has helped a lot since this issue was brought up in the past on multiple other posts but no one had a concrete fix to work around it but to just accept that the saved worlds and stuff were gone. I'm thinking though that there are probably other players who are experiencing the EULA bug as well however, they might not know this solution so, I'll pass this fix or solution on to them and hopefully they won't have their worlds wiped like mine were. As for my situation, on April 1st the EULA popped up and after accepting it, I went through the usual troubleshooting things of ending the game and restarting, restarting my console, etc. in which through this whole process, the EULA didn't appear constantly when loading DST on Xbox Series X, so in my case, the EULA only appeared once. This being said, there was a post on the forums back around November of 2022 by EOReality where he experienced the same EULA bug and ended up losing his saved data however, for his case, the EULA was constantly popping up for him (on Xbox Series S) for every time he launched or started DST (Link to his post: EOReality's Post). As an example that this happened for others. But again, I hope that Klei fixes or addresses this issue since it is a game breaking bug for console players and it puts a risk for anyone who is wanting to spend a lot of time building their worlds for a long time past day 500+.
