the pig king came from hamlet, this is seen by the sculpture in the second town, and the picture in the academy/whatever the shop with relics is called.

the description of the pig king loading screen in dst is:dstpigkingbackgrounddescreption.png.6b7cde4d7db53eeda3e79ae42422f5a4.png

so we must assume that its possible to travel from hamlet to the constant without the skyworthy.
they also have sculptures of were pigs, so they must know that their ancestors where able to transform into were pigs. (didn't get a picture of this)
they also have sculpture of pig from the constant, with grass skirt/whatever its called.

the poop dungs is made by the roc.

the ruins contain thulecite symbols.

Wilba is currently the only character thats we know isn't from the "real world".

during the aporkalypse, the mants seem to become aggressive, which might explain why there's the pig heads on sticks in the jungle, even though pigs and mants isn't aggressive towards each other.

I thought that too, but the shape and colouring of that particular centipede creature is a lot closer to the Womant than Antlion.

There seems to be a connection  between the Ancients and the Mants in the Aporkalypse anyway—It wouldn’t surprise me if they were a lot closer than we thought.

I'm thinking that the ancients actually may have evolved from mants. I think that the mats separated when some wanted to leave but the others wanted to stay in the hamlet as tribals. So some mants left to the caves and evolved to be more suited for their life there. Also the ancients created the clockworks, and considering how the hippopotamoose and the zeb are like knights and rooks, I'm assuming the ancients created the clockworks with inspiration from their time in hamlet.

i also thought the mants evolved into ancients, but didn't think of the rook and knight's connection to hippotatomoose and zeb

shipwrecked seem to be the only dlc without any connection to the lore of dont starve

Maxwell's face from the Volcano in the trailer seems to show that he had SOME relation to SW. But the rest of the lore is a bit wonky from there...
