That is the greatest idea ever to have vehicles for duplicants! And somehow it inspired me about another type of vehicle. Mechanized Armor/Exodrive. Here comes the first model of Exodrive: the “Type 1 Moonwalker”! (The Exodrives are inspired by LV Armor from Metal Slug 3) Moonwalker Stats: Armor durability 200HP Construction +2 Digging +2 Strength +2 Athletics -1 Oxygen 500kg capacity Battery 20000W capacity (running 5 cycles) Carrier 10000Kg capacity CO2 production -100% Bladder rate -110% Scalding Threshold +800°C Update 2 Two more Exodrives!!! Type 2 Digger DrillJack DrillJack stats: Armor durability 400HP Digging +5 Strength +3 Athletics -1 Oxygen 500kg capacity Battery 50000W capacity (running 5 cycles) Carrier 10000Kg capacity CO2 production -100% Bladder rate -110% Scalding Threshold + 1500°C Insulative Type B1 Sergeant (Combat vehicle) Sergeant stats: Armor durability 600HP Strength +1 Athletics -1 Digging +8 (however can’t dig) Construction +1 Oxygen 500Kg capacity Battery 50000W capacity (running 5 cycles) Carrier capacity 5000Kg Ammunition capacity 100 CO2 production -100% Bladder rate -110% Scalding Threshold +800°C Update 3 Before I am introducing more Exodrives, let’s say, what facilities we should have? Similar to what is done in exosuits, we have those things. Hangers refills Exodrives’ oxygen and battery, and also the place you repair or dismantle them. (Except those broke down, or, 0 HP.) Like exosuit docks they must be built next to checkpoints. The placement of Exodrive forge is a little bit special, it must have contact with both floor and ceiling. (dimension 3w×4h.) Sasza22 Posted November 18, 2018 Share Posted November 18, 2018 I like the idea of an exosuit that enhances the dupe strength. Would be nice to have multiple exosuits being buildable in the exoforge. I`d also like a rover type of vechicle that would use rubber made using sulfur. I just can`t see a reason to use one. There aren`t many flat surfaces and the game is 2d. One for space exploration, one for both mining operations and ressource transport and one to dive safely into magma. Those would be the most legit ways to build exodrives. Because combat is based on the digging speed, strength only affect how fast a dupe tidy outhouses and terrariums and how much it can carry in weight. They should also be able to organize resources in a better way (maybe we might see a storage room in the near future which would be controlled by these engineers?)
