Chat icons

Please replace these stupid chat icons by character icons.
When someone writes to the chat, I don't understand who this character is, it is very inconvenient!
(Or add setting for change it)

Say the "chat icons are stupid" is rude, because some users actually like that.

What about when you're playing along with 3 Wilson o 2 Wendy? I see more usefull the Icons than just have Characters in chat.

This not problem for me.

Why this idea is a bad? 
Add a setting so that each player can customize it way he wants.
Settings will have personal effect for each player.
You like this icons - you have icons.
You want character icons - you have character icons.
You don't like these icons in the chat - you just turn them off.
Do you think this is unfair?
I think everyone deserves equal rights.

I never told you is "bad, "unfair" or something like that. I just said: 

"I see more usefull the Icons than just have Characters in chat."

Everybody have the right of give his opinion, just like I do the mine.

I also do not think it's a bad idea this thing of settings.
But you could have a little more cordiality in talking about it.

 

I have a simpler way to solve the problem, an addition like "(Name of the character) Player Name and Icon", would be enough for a better understanding in the chat. Something like that:

 

(Wes) Geeris [Icon]: "Hello, World!".

 

It would only need attention to the size of the string, because depending on the name of the character + name of the player, it can occupy some lines.

Honestly, the icons just add too much clutter in my opinion. The names alone are more then enough to identify someone. And with use of the player list (hold tab) you can see what character that person is using.

Using the button "Tab" is not so convenient, it is better when the place of icons in the chat will be the character icon or the player's name.
I am not saying to change it for everyone, only to add a setting for personalizing this for each player.
