which tile of a solar panel exchages heat?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I recently tried space exposed solar panels and learned that having a cooling solution from below did not have much of an effect. the first thing working kind of was having a puddle of oil sitting on their base and then a coolant circuit running above the base. But that brought up the question if the coolant needs to flow all across the base of the panel or if one  tile of it is all that is heat exchanging. Has anyone studied that?

Just keep them in vacuum without contact to any tile that might catch heat. They will stay at 45°C.

I will do that and see how it works. does being directly under a glass floor count as contact?
