I may try to make a mod of her

Stats could be : 150 HP 130 Sanity 160 Hunger

Items : Witch Cauldron ( 15 uses , starts with it ) , 4-8 special potions ( she will start with Sanity one ) which could be used as throwables ( like darts with small AoE ) with smaller effect ( 50 hp would deal 25 hp instead )  MAYBE and do something with catcoons ( experiment on them , turn them into random enemy - not bosses ofc )

For example : 2 blue shrooms and 1 COOKED green make healing potion 100 % while 1 blue and 1 green cooked have 50% healing potion or 50% sanity one - I am saying cooked because there could be insanity and deadly potion

there may be a ingredient that with all shroom types makes random potion 

there could be a succulent potion which stops sandstorms for 2 minutes

there could be a ingredient which swaps the outcome for It's counterpart ( for example Healing could swap into damage one ) 

Cauldron could accept mushrooms , special ingredients - not twigs or any fillers

The potions could be named Red Elixir and Waverly could inspect and say effects in a some sort of confusing matter

I honestly just want her in. She is a character that intrigued me for a while.
I even planned to make a mod to bring her in with all the other unimplementeds... but I have a few projects that need to be done before that, sadly

About Sunlight: Loosing health from sunlight would mean that she might be cursed aswell, that perk would fit better on Wortox; damage from Sunlight by overheating is Woodies perk.

Rain: WX-78 takes damage from rain and sanity is only reduced when wearing wet clothes, reducing her sanity by getting wet might be a perk. She would also have a harder time without rain because mushrooms only grow during rain (except in Mushroom planters).

2nd ability suggestion: Reduced negative effects from mushrooms: 50-100% less damage/sanity drain (Boomshrooms could be included since Toadstool drops Funcap blueprints which might be useful for her)

Willow and Wigfrid also have low sanity though.

I suggested the sunlight because in old witche's lore they usually hated the sunlight and even burned with it.

I like that suggestion of the mushrooms.

(True)², but unlike webber, who gains only 10 Sanity per 3 days with Shaving, Willow and Wigfrid have 120 Sanity and can restore their Sanity with Fire (Willow) or Fighting (Wigfrid). Willow also has Bernie who tanks all the damage from Shadow creatures (Best character for farming Nightmare Fuel) while Wigfrid can regenerate life while she's insane.

I'm against sunlight because Wortox could fit even more into that role: Having a sun-meter which causes Overheat while not affecting his temperature => "Overheating" & Freezing during Winter!

At first I liked the suggestion aswell but now I prefer my 2nd suggestion, she would need to eat Green/Blue Mushrooms, Monster Food or Raw Meat to keep her sanity intact. As much as I know witche's don't eat noble food so most Crock Pot recipes should reduce her sanity.

I'd say that title belongs to Maxwell due to his perma-insanity trick. Or Wolfgang, since he's obviously the best at anything combat related. Willow suffers from a loss of temperature when low on sanity, so this limits when you can farm fuel without having to deal with your temperature too. Staying near fire to warm up will also restore sanity, so this works against you when trying to farm fuel.

That, and personally I have problems using Bernie. The change of agro back and forth makes kiting them more difficult in my opinion.

Wickerbottom uses book's magic to affect her enviromnent. Plants growing, summoning birds, lightning strikes.

Waverly could use magic to upgrade stats. More demage, faster movement speed, immunity to poisonous food etc. Yeah I know that it sounds as if she just gives you other characters' perks but just imagine. It wouldn't last forever, we'd know that thanks to boubles over character head like with poison in shipwerect. She'd have a special item that'd be a crafting station that only she can use to make potions. I can actually see her work as a new character. She'd even fit to ds/t. If a robot can then so can she
