[Suggestion] Kitchen Room

i can get that, but a good organized kitchen would rather increase the speed of meal preparation than improve their quality as the quality of said meals largly depend on the quality of the chef(s). i'd also think that a quality bonus to prepared food would be somewhat overkill given the mess hall and great hall boni.

+1 for kitchen becoming an own room.

If I may add a request. Make the "stove" assignable. if you have more than 1 cook or more than one stove for different types of meals you can manage who's cooking what.

I have one uber-cook with like 8 or 10 in cooking skills another one with just 4. I'd like the better one to make my mushrooms because I need 2 mushrooms for every bread. Because I only have a few specialist with better food demand

I think we shouldn`t add too many room types. I mean it`s ok to have rooms but if we would have a room for every type of job it would limit the design of your base. You would have to dedicate a room for a kitchen, a lab etc. I`m not against having a kitchen but i prefer to have freedom to where i put the grill. Not to have strickt room requirements.

Not to be tat guy, but this has already been suggested a lot. About every time room types are discussed.

Personaly, I'm not opposed to a kitchen beng a room, however if rooms types sould stay scarce ,I think a kitchen and any bonus it would provide could just as well be merged with the mess hall under the name of "galley" (We're running a space colony here, not an hotel.) because thigs like a lab could deintively use the spot more.

Also +1 to any meal being pepared there would be waayy too powerfull a bonus.That feels more like te kind of bonus a master lzvel cook gets rther than a rom bonus. I agreefood preparedfaster sems more on par for a room bonus.

(Well to be fair, you can anyway, technicaly it's not like you /have to use rooms at all, really. You can u any equipement realy wherever you want ,You don't get the bonuses and it'll a be small hit to efficiency but that's not that crippling.)

may be they could rework the room system so each item in game have a score or more toward a room, like tags. this tags can be negative or positive. (eg: Coal generator add positive score toward power plant, and a greater negative score toward any room type that dislike machinery). and if a room get the minimum score requirement, it will get a passive buff. 

that way we could mix room types or do more focused and specialized room, limited by room size and object sizes. hypothetically it will give us the illusion of freedom, until each of us discover their optimal room layout.
