What happens when you press this key and then press ctrl + v in paint/in the forum message box ? The print screen button is a build-in feature of your OS, it is very unlikely that it doesnt work for you. What it does is that it copies your current screen output to your clipboard. You can then insert it into any image editing tool of your choosing (e.g. MS Paint). If you dont like straight forward answers, dont ask straight forward questions. Senior techperson so you wanted to stir the pot essentially, and still not give an answer. great. But thnxx prtscr is not a baked function, of course, but if you see the forum you'll notice that many people are pasting pictures from the game, so they are using it(or the steam alternative) and it works, so it should work for you too. My keyboard also has it paired with SysRq, but as I'm not using SysRq, so it doesn't matter - this button is usually used exclusively for taking pictures. And it's not "an external app" - it's just a key on your keyboard that you press. The game doesn't list it as it's part of the Operating system already, the same way they don't list the "delete key" for deleting text or ctrl+c as copy for names/numbers in the different fields, but it works. The only one stiring the pot is the guy, who cant use constructive feedback and instead starts throwing names at various helpful posters who have been trying to provide him a solution for the task of taking a screenshot. Apart from the fact that a "No" was plainly readable from between the lines of every post provided in this thread, what good would that information have done you? Are you a game reviewer who wants to fill his column "has a dedicated screenshot function" or do you want to take a screenshot? I'd assume the later and so did everybody else and tried to provide you with the information to complete that task. The only reason i even bothered is because i too was somewhat annoyed by your rather crummy attitude towards people helping you and moreover, Klei themselves. i know it's not "an actual button" in the game, but you are obviously using some kind of alien keyboard and OS that none of us understand so whatever.
