Please make reed fiber compostable

Please make reed fiber compostable.  Right now after you have all your snazzy suits there is no use whatsoever for sheering normal dreckos or ranching reed fibers.  Please make them compostable to give them a purpose.

You also need them for exosuits. 

I do think it makes sense to give them a consumable use since they can pile up, but I don't think compost is the best use.  My thinking is that it would probably be better in a building like the farming station and power station.  Maybe something like a med bay station, where you use them to make high quality bandages, or improve some industry.  Maybe a cooking station boost, but the explanation of why reed fiber helps there would be harder.

What about fancy beds that require reed fiber? Rock and/or plastic aren't very comfortable.

You would still run in to the problem that the amount of reed fiber you need is proportional to the number of dupes you have.  Without a consumable use for them, you would eventually have all the reed fiber needed and everything else is extra that you have no use for. 

If hatches eat reed fiber, you could also use it as hatch food, converting the reed fiber in to eggs and meat.

That's an interesting way to make them a consumable, but it's impracticable until we get some sort of combat upgrade (and thus a more reliable means of dupe injury).  I do like the idea, though.

What happens if you melt a snazzy suit? Do you get sand?
