enragedcamel
I'm only counting 78W (all of it from lamps): If I deconstruct one of the wires, the circuit shows 78W as it should. However, the moment I reconnect the whole circuit, it goes up to 198W. yoakenashi
Just for sake of completeness, try deconstructing the conductive wire bridges and see if the wattage goes down. There was a bug at one point where bridges were connecting to the wire underneath them - perhaps you are seeing something similar. If that was true we would be seeing it at 798W and that's not counting any machines off screen but would't hurt to try as I'm stumped too, I suggest sending this to https://forums.kleientertainment.com/klei-bug-tracker/oni/ along with a save file Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91670-why-is-there-198w-on-this-circuit/#findComment-1045669 Share on other sites
enragedcamel
I figured it out. Buildings that are first disabled and then disconnected (in that order) continue counting towards the totals of their previously connected circuits, until they are deconstructed. See that Algae Oxidizer in the screenshot that's not connected to anything? That is currently disabled, but it was previously connected to the highlighted circuit. It was still counting towards the circuit's total wattage. I just deconstructed it and the circuit is down to 78W as it should. abud
Probably you should report this, pretty annoying bug. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91670-why-is-there-198w-on-this-circuit/#findComment-1045788 Share on other sites
beowulf2010
I wonder if it's just a display error or if it actually would contribute to wire overload damage... Don't have time to play tonight to test it myself... enragedcamel
It's definitely not a display error. The attached battery drained a lot faster than it should have (and then started draining much more slowly once the oxidizer was gone). BlueLance
They reduced the wattage of lights? Wish I knew that Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91670-why-is-there-198w-on-this-circuit/#findComment-1046003 Share on other sites
