oxy_ralf
Hello, I'm fighting to get my Dreckos groomed. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if this could be a bug. Ruby is my only rancher and I was wondering why he doesn't do his job. So I allowed him only to ranch and blocked all his other priorities. After that he went idle and does nothing. I tried to put a Hatch to this stable and he started to groom the Hatch, but he never touches the Dreckos. At the beginning there was also a Shine Bug in the room and he started to groom him first. I thought maybe that blocks the room somehow so I builded a second room. But there he also doesn't groom my Dreckos. Am I missing something? Does Dreckos have another condition to get them groomed? For me it looks like he should just groom them. He has level 3 in ranching, but I don't think that there is a level cap. Greetings I don't know why, but after like 5 cycles and more wrangling of wild Dreckos he started to groom. Neotuck
there is no path for the dreckos to reach the grooming station or the mealwood, they are stuck in the middle island with the shearing station and incubator Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/90992-how-to-groom-dreckos-bug/#findComment-1036845 Share on other sites

PhailRaptor
The way you have the room set up, your Dreckos can't reach the Grooming Station, or the Mealwood. While there are some gaps that Dreckos can leap across, they can't reach the wall the Door is in. This prevents them from pathing to the Grooming Station. Soulwind
Side Note: does the wildness factor affect scale growth? I know it affects appetite and eggs, but if it doesn't affect scale growth then leaving them wild might be a better solution if all you want is the scales? rafker
In my case I cut out a chunk of both walls, so they can jump over the gap from floating platform to the room walls (I believe they can only jump over 1 tile) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/90992-how-to-groom-dreckos-bug/#findComment-1036892 Share on other sites

It does affect them, but it's not as large as other critter types.
