During the many hours I played DS, but mostly DST, I sometimes got some ideas for short stories, funny moments or situations about our surviors, so I decided to make comics from these. Many of these are connected to in-game mechanics (often parodies of such), quotes or other events that are based on in-game features. That's why I took up on making short comics from screenshots to realize and publish them to the community. (Absolutely not because I'm terrible at drawing.) Therefore, I used only in-game screenshots, with as little photoshopping as possible. Most of them are simply cut, right now there is only a few where I added extra text on them which wouldn't have been possible in the game itself. I consider them art, maybe the way I created them isn't very artistic, but the concept, the thought behind them is what I wanted to form with these pictures. So please correct me if this topic is wrong here. There are two types of these comics as of now: ones are telling short stories that I came up with, these are usually coming from a quote or feature of the game that I found funny or I could parodize within the everydays of the surviors. The other type of comics have some connection with the real world (out of the game), built around references to real events or other games. In any case, I tried to keep the characters' personalities to make the stories lore-friendly because I'd like to stay as close to the canon as possible. I think that's enough from the introduction, here are the first comics I made: The Gentleman Willow's favourite smartphone This was partially inspired by a picture I saw on steam, where a smiling Willow was there on a news report with burning houses. By the way, if I need a villain or bad guy in a comic, this guys is usually Maxwell. Sorry Maxwell fans! I actually like him a lot, but he is still the most evil of all the surviors (and maybe WX... but he isn't humanish enough). Wendy laughs I find that Maxwell's morose expression fits this scene pretty vell. Oh, and thanks for the great emoticons, Klei! I hope to see some more! The last one for now will be the one with one of my favourite character. I really love how Klei designed some of the surviors' personalities! I have more to bring, I got some ideas and work-in-progresses. Currently I have around ten comincs, most of them are at least partially ready. Once I publish them I don't know how often I'll come up with new ones, as I don't always get good ideas. Anyways, here are the next comics, the last one I finished today: Mime I love how you can crash down walls with your bare fists, but you cannot step over some bones placed on the ground... A beefalo that is cold Dark horse Flowey I wonder who will get the reference I wrote my remarks on it in the spoiler. Spoiler This idea came from Undertale (a good game btw, with great soundtracks!). After some times I met Flowey there, I remembered this Maxwell quote. Seriously, it expressed my first feelings about that flower so well. Maybe that urge isn't even that irrational?...
