minespatch
11:29, maybe he's not attacking the game but I thought his critcism needed to be posted her just in case you devs needed to see. Also, Mark of the Ninja and Darkest Dungeon shout outs too. ProfessorAlpaca
Ahh, a fellow Arlo fan I see! As for the eshop page, it does seem like Don't Starve's could use more screenshots. I feel the current ones don't showcase the game well enough and without prior knowledge even the trailer could seem a little vague. I'd hate for DS to get lost in the sea of mediocre games as the eshop gets more and more saturated, hopefully the Switch edition does get the attention it deserves. Sicko Hog
I'm not surprised that arlo doesn't care enough to learn more about games than what's on their eshop pages, this is the same guy who practically started protesting in the streets over the Color Splash announcement that showed barely anything about the game. I mean, in the end, he wasn't wrong. That game was awful, maybe not as bad as Sticker Star, but awful regardless. He also didn't say anything about the game, just that the description on the eShop really isn't that reflective of the game itself, and I agree. Rellimarual
Very interesting! Curation is a big challenge in all digital marketplaces. Lower the bar of entry and tons of junk—some of it sincere but inept, but a lot of it cynical ripoffs—floods in. The ebook market on Amazon was the canary in the coal mine for this. You can’t find anything decent by browsing anymore. Consumers understandably don’t want to have to spend hours researching how to spend their leisure time, so a store that is truly selective has an edge.
