Having both biohazardous and flatulent sounds like an especially dangerous combination.

Biohazardous isnt so bad, it equates to 11% immune regen vs 15%, its the flatulence that becomes a real issue after many cycles you'll end up having to deal with natural gas in all sorts of places. On top of that it occasionally interrupts other duplicants while they're working.

I take biohazardous dupes quite frequently but I'm also pretty diligent in dealing with germs.

Yea, I never ever take a dupe with a few specific traits, and Flatulent is one of them.  I also am very prone to avoiding ones with Narcoleptic and Loud Sleeper.   Other then that, I just check the stats.  And honestly... that guy's stats are not all that great.   The only real thing going for him is 5 Athletics.  But that isn't a make or break thing.    It isn't like he has high athletics AND Buff.  And ultimately the delivery position can be worked out of your base with the conveyor system.

That is one of few things I look in dupes. But I really hate flatulent.

Not that high stats, are you even playing the new update? 5 highest base stat you can get.

Flatulence is always straight no for me.

I know it's not a lot of NG, but I don't want to be bothered tidying it out of my base area.

It can float around outside all it wants, but my base area has to be oxygen and as little co2 as possible only.

Wait, did they remove the immunity stat?  If you are playing miserable immune systems (-15% immunity/cycle), does that mean that the dupes won't gain immune system strength naturally without the germ resistant talent?  (I'm still playing tubular)

The flatulence trait for me is a big NO. I avoid it like the plague regardless of custom game settings, unless I'm in debug mode and I enclose them in a room and let them suffocate to death in their farts.

Biohazardous is fine unless you're playing with the miserable modifier (-15% immunity/cycle), where their immunity drops by 4% per cycle until it reaches 0.
