JuztYaza
so im actually new at DST about 50 hours or more something like that and i have some question to ask first ive recently kill beequeen and get royal jelly and make it to jellybeans. it said that jelly bean restore HP overtime for 2 mins (if im not mistaken) so if i eat multiple jelly beans is stack the HP regen or make the duration longer or not both? second im also trying to tame beefalo (i dont know why im doing this maybe because im mostly playing alone cause my friends can only join in tuesday). it was late autumn and through winter suddenly my beefalo have red dot in his (or her) ass and attacking me. the question is how about my taming progression? is it reset? cause i need to use beefalo hat (thanks for winter feast event for give me bunch of this) in order to give him (or her) food. third is about berry bush. my berry bush recently got diseased and i know i could prevent it by dug it but is there any info about how long berry bush need to be dug? or is there any clue before berry bush got diseased? fourth question, how much is gunpowder damage? ive been looking at dont starve wiki it said 200 but i dont know why i cant kill bee queen easily with 100 gunpowder. is it nerfed? or is that any trick to use it cause i think bee queen is right above gunpowder explosion. thats it for now (sorry for my bad english) thanks! EDIT: adding some more question fifth is there a change to dont have any end table spawning in our world? cause i didnt see any or i just forgot where it was? and also if i make end table and give light bulb to it, is there any duration for lightbulb or it will last forever? sixth ive been taming beefalo but im not sure if its a rider one so here some pict. is that rider type? seventh question is im lil bit unlucky when i realize there are penguls base in my base. so is there any change to remove the penguls base? and how about removing the mini glacier? how we do that? eight how to farm butterfly efficiently? ItsPizzaTime
Heya, I'ma try to answer your questions accurately, if anyone else finds something wrong with my answers please feel free to chime in. 1. Beequeen - I believe as you eat another jelly bean it will merely extend the time limit back up to the 2 min duration. I know that the HP regen effect does not stack but I am unsure as to whether there is a time limit stack. 2. Beefalo taming - the red butts mean they're in mating, as long as you didn't attack the beefalo back you will not lose any domestication. As you said, to relieve all of this just wear a beef hat when they're in heat to avoid aggro. The mechanics for understanding beefalo domestication and taming are kinda complicated but there are some great Youtube videos that go really in depth into explaining how you can tame one in the least amount of time and what to watch out for. 3. Disease - the only clues that are present as to whether or not a plant is near the stage in which it is diseased is text will appear above your characters head when harvesting that comment on the fact that the plant looks sickly or something is wrong ect. When you notice your character comment on the plants health it is recommended that you remove it and replant. Also I always recommend that if anyone has problems with disease that you change the world options and toggle it off as it can be very annoying having to replant your bushes / grass patch every few days to make sure disease isn't claiming your limited resources. 4. Gunpowder mechanics - It wasn't super recent, but a patch not too long ago added diminishing return to the damage that gunpowder can do within a limited amount of time. I am not sure of the exact amount you can drop before DR sets in, but to be safe I wouldn't drop more than a few at a time and then wait around 10 seconds before repeating. Also for future reference I wouldn't trust much of what the wiki has to say, some of it is accurate but there is outdated info as well and things do tend to change, so. Also your English seemed perfectly fine to me, GL in the Constant. You can find them on this very website! https://forums.kleientertainment.com/game-updates/dst/ I don't remember what date it was for the gunpowder nerf. EDIT: just found it, the update on 4/21/2017, so it was a bit ago. Also yeah a way to combat disease that's different from the current way would be nice. I've got one Fuelweaver kill on my belt and don't plan to do it again. Clarification: I over prepared to the point that I fumbled up my strategy to a stupid extent. Surprisingly, I beat him but I am still mentally exhausted. spideswine
The only proper way to tame a beefalo is beat it repeatedly until it dies. Otherwise it turns you into its *****. And yes, that's a rider beefalo, it's pretty worthless for wx so I suggest killing it to save salt licks. You can feed it and put on a saddle and it will let you ride for a while. Fully taming them only gives the beefalo improved stats. At the very least just leave it near salt licks and only use it when you need to use it, don't tame it for the sake of taming it. Aside from being a waste of time, "tamed" beefalos are also *******s, so the less you deal with them the better.
