In-Game shop Forge character sets

Hello,

I couldn't find any information anywhere on what exactly is in those chests, if I purchase them from the in-game shop. I had the all characters option in mind but I'm unclear as to what exactly I will receive.

I haven't been playing the game for a while and thus I also missed out on the forge event and have no clue what were the event's items or if it's even the same thing.

Hello @Debra Morgan, welcome to the forums. I have not personally bought the any character sets but here's an example of what you get when you buy the big bundle. It's Master Jand's status from last week. While buying individual sets I believe gets you every piece of item from that set i.e. head, body, legs, etc. but I can't confirm that since again I haven't bought it.

If you’re asking what you get when you BUY a set of skins from Klei, you don’t get any item skins, like the ham bat or armor skins. It’s just character/wardrobe  skins, and just those skins introduced with the Forge. The war chests themselves are no longer available and could contain a wider variety of items. That might include emotes, emoticons and profile backgrounds. Master Jands status is NOT representative of what you’d get in either the chests or from buying sets, because even the $13 set does not include item skins. However, you CAN unravel the character/wardrobe skins you don’t want and weave them into item skins

I'm going to have to issue a refund on the purchase since it's much less items than I expected.. Before buying, I browsed the items collection and this forum's skin collection post. And like Rellimarual said, there are absolutely no item skins, no emotes, backgrounds or any of the other stuff that seemed to be part of the event. It looks like I would be able to sacrifice some of the character skins to 'weave' one or two of the item skins but that doesn't work for me.

Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding that refund, since it doesn't look like steam supports refunds for non-valve in-game purchases?

FWIW, I bought the $12 set and it contained enough skins I didn’t want to enable me to get the item skins I did want.
