Get rid of discovered room tiles?

Recommended Posts

I'm probably overlooking something really obvious, but...is there a way to deconstruct discovered room tiles? Is there a way to get rid of used neural vacillators, lockers, vending machines, etc? (Question 2: Is there a way that doesn't involve, I dunno, bathing it in molten wolframite or whatever the cool kids are doing in their high-temperature stunts?)

If i understand right whole point of those is to give additional challenge so you need to build around them.

Debug mode is the fastest way, destroy feature. You could use Liquid Tepidizer exploit in air and keep toggle it on and off. It generates insane temperatures. Trap all that temperature in abbysilate room with vacuum air lock.

You can deconstruct the Insulated and Mesh Tiles, as well as the wiring for the damaged Light Fixtures.  Everything else, however, is immune.

Your only options are to melt them with extreme Heat, break the Tiles with liquid pressure, or use Debug Mode to destroy them.

You simply cannot....

You can destroy doors since they're made out of copper with high temps. Mesh,Insulated and wirings can be deconstructed.

Ancient objects (Neutro Vacil, Vending Machine, Broken light etc.) cannot be destroyed, again, exception to doors and Thermo Nullifier, since they're made out of iron and copper respectively.

I hope it isn't the case, because it's not challenging, it's just an OCD-sore that shows off the problems with pathfinding that the game has.

I agree with you, I am not OCD but I like my base to be built the same way etc most times.

First thing I do when I see one is remove it with debug, so unfortunately for me they are just a hassle XD also not really a challenge because all you so is just build above it below it or next to it. More of an inconvenience? I don't mine lore but at least make it destructible.
