question What mistakes did you make when you started playing?

It happens regularly at this point, but i forgot my hunger gauge on what was at the time my longest-running world. My HP was dropping fast and no seeds to be seen around. So i decided to eat the next best thing in my inventory:

 

Raw Monster Meat.

I also remember once back in the days of beta starve, when i tried to unlock all the characters fast by picking willow and muting the game while it ran in the background.

I forgot about my hunger gauge AND hound attacks. As you can probably tell, i was so disappointed at myself.

I opened a winter trap. I spent the rest of my life feeding people carrots and keeping them warm.

Playing on public servers.

I kept forgetting that food was a thing and always ran around at less than 50 hunger, without any food or any plan to gather food. Since I was allways so hungry, my character wouldn't alert me of their low hunger. I starved many a time.

When i first started playing Don't starve together I use to be that guy the one who always sat around base doing nothing but eating all the food everyone else got, i was playing Wolfgang for the first time on a public server and winter had just ended. Besides emptying the icebox anytime anyone got food (never using the crock pots either) i also was just a general nuisance, using a lot of resources to craft random stuff, picking the flowers from bee boxes, stuff like that. But that's not all once i finally decided to do something and went on a hunt. I ended up finding a Varg on the hunt led it back to base, died haunted one of the hounds turning it into a fire hound, that then burned down base.

 

tldr: Led a varg to base haunted one of the hounds it spawned turning it into a fire hound that burned down said base
