Triadragon Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Hey guys so the girlfriend and I have been playing together for just over 250 days now and have fully explored the topside world and most of the caves. We don't use mods and don't use console commands, but have not been able to find the wooden thing or the other "things" in the top world to world hop. I feel stupid I can't find this anywhere on the forum or reddit/google, but is the portal to world hop enabled in DST? Just wondering because we haven't come across any of these yet and the map is fully explored. Thanks! Does this mean then that unless we sit there farming tumbleweeds that orange/green gems, including the houndius shootious are pretty much nonrenewable unless we do a console command to regenerate the caves? I'm not entirely sure what the exact numbers are but I did see her drop a green gem multiple times. As for the Houndius Shootius, yes, that is non-renewable without any console commands. (You have to use it while in the caves) If you go into the cave server console (if this is a dedicated server) then you should be ablr to regenerate caves from anywhere. Make sure you're on thr surface whilst doing so, otherwise you'll end up regenerating players' characters for whomever is in thr caves during the regen. And just in case, have backup of your server at all times in case this doesn't go as planned. I so wish there was some way to world hop...
