JLee Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 I keep getting: "Connection Failed: Something went awry while connecting. Please try again." whenever I try to host my 1250 day server. Literally have no issues hosting other worlds in other save files, so I know my internet is not to blame. So much work and effort went into that survival world and if I lose it due to some stupid bug or corrupt file I don't think I can ever play this game anymore. Can anyone help? HutGenerator Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 Whatever methods you are trying to recover your world, do a backup copy of your save cluster first. Another thing you can try is, copy the saved file to other pc/laptop and try to host there instead. You will have better chance to recover if your world has no mod at all. Auth Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 Think you could get your save files for your game and put them here? That'd help the devs better figure out how to help. Also, try opening this ticket in the bug tracker if you haven't already, the devs look there first and foremost when there's a problem that needs fixing.
