Asparagus Posted May 6, 2016 Share Posted May 6, 2016 So, we were playing on the very not laggy (seriously, I love playing on this server) Rhymes with Play Server... now getting late, we figured why not end with a bang by farming Dragon Scales?So, @Fidooop, @GiddyGuy, and I got butterflies, Glommer goop, and various weapons and armor to head out... we built the standard battle pen where the Lavae won't get us... Spoiler (Left my spare Abigail Flower in onr of the backpacks on the bottom left of the screen which was supposed to clean up the Lavae around us) Now we were doing fine, getting scales and stuff... but the bad part was Fid's Wigfrid couldn't target the Dragonfly after a few hits... the worse part, when she went off to summon more Lavae... she got stuck... and so we were left to just wait on her to come back... when we eventually died from hunger or the other waiting for her... Spoiler She was stuck on that water-wall... she couldn't navigate through it to spawn her Lavae on that Lava Pool... and her AI was stuck on the single-minded task of spawning it to care for anything else... So we went back to base and regrouped and Fid got in an argument with a new arrival... Spoiler Abigail and I just took care of the Lavae guarding the area... she's so great <3 After that, we just went back to wail on the Dragonfly, she not being able to fight back as she had a single-minded instinct to summon her Lavae... and just after a few more hits, she was dead... the Lavae egg and some gems fell into the water she got stuck on though so there's that... so yeah... it was fun though... though I think her arena should be laid-out a bit... better? Mudley Posted May 6, 2016 Share Posted May 6, 2016 I agree a lot with this, maybe we could trade some of the Dragonfly health for a more challenging AI for actual difficulty? I went back to base cause Fid and you died for my sins since I had to open up the pen and escape to our base. Oh wait I did die but stole you amulet, and thus had no agro from lavae, xD either way I had fun finding all those glitches with you last night! O__O The dragonfly has so many goofy bugs hurrhurr I punned and glitches with her AI! I just want a real boss fight that's cool and not next to impossible while still being very buggy look! I did it again! PUNS! you can snap her brain into a broken zoned out "what do I do now?" state in several ways for some reason the targeting system is broke for me and me alone and it only happens to the dragon fly...
