Russian Posted March 10, 2016 Share Posted March 10, 2016 Basically, I hate the "seasons" in Shipwrecked. 3 "seasons" out of 4 mean just this : downtime. The time that just wastes one's time. No gains, no challenges, just wasting one's time while waiting for a better season. In theory, those seasons look great. In practice, though .. they are just extra ambient annoyance with no benefits. Isn't this basically saying "because of the challenges presented in these seasons, I can't do what I do in the mild season"? Also, on a separate note, based on the votes, the seasons seem to be fairly balanced now. Luponius Posted March 10, 2016 Share Posted March 10, 2016 I'm the other masochistic moron voting against Calm season apparently, I thought more people would be annoyed by it, since it's just "free season for survival". I kinda like that whole "doom and gloom building up" as you go through increasingly rougher seasons. Of course I would end up dead, but I find such a prospect of "uphill survival" quite intriguing. For example, if everyone had voted for one season, it would suggest that one season was particularly unbalanced.
