TheTraditionalGentleman
Like the title says, how does one equip a backpack skin? I have one that I really like, but I can't seem to figure out how to use it. CaptainFun
When you go to craft a backpack, there are arrows you can click to change what kind of backpack you want to craft. Developer ImDaMisterL Posted January 24, 2016 Developer Share Posted January 24, 2016 Hey there, @TheTraditionalGentleman!In the crafting menu, go to the "Survival" tab. Find the backpack in it, but instead of just clicking on it, like you normally would to craft it, you'll notice that under its description will be the its image and a "default" under it, and an arrow by its right side. Click on the arrow and all the backpack DST skins you have will be on that roster! Then just leave it on the one you want and THEN craft the backpack!BOOM! You crafted your backpack skin! EDIT: Ninja'd xD Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/63203-equipping-backpack-skins/#findComment-713442 Share on other sites
VeryDead
Captain Fun is correct, you'll need to craft the skin outright. I should add one little piece of information though. If you have an elegant backpack such as the Smallbird pack or the Spider backpack, if left on the ground too long, it'll decompose into an ugly mess. If your skin is elegant, don't drop it for extended periods if you don't want it to rot. Anywho, that's what I can tell you. Then again, I may not have dropped it for too long. I do apologize for the off chance that my information may or may not be accurate. Yeah all backpacks can rot so be careful, it would however be nice if the backpacks never rotted at all cause if they did my puffy vest would have a use in winter...
