(Alright, this is what it is)

The thumping and gurgling breaths grew louder and louder. a slimy, webbed hand grabbed onto the railing, and Gyx pulled himself into view. He scanned the crew, before tumbling over the railing aboard the ship. He wiped himself off, even though he wasn't covered in anything.

Kate saw her plush friend sneak away to the room below the deck out of the corner of her eye. She got up to go down there with him, but stopped short at the entrance. She stood there nervously for a while. He might be mad at her for leaving him when the monster was being scary, and she still felt a little guilty over it. Maybe he wanted to be by himself. Eventually, she poked her head in the entrance. "Um, d-do you want to be alone for a while?" As she asked she realized that she wouldn't mind being away for everyone for a bit too. There was just so much going on...

Now that she had stopped being poked with a stick, the dragon figured it was about time to get a good wiff of the newcomer. She got close and bent her head over, got one sniff, and then froze. Her eyes narrowed. This humans persons was the exact same one that attacked one of the group. She may look different, but there is no mistaking the smell. She would have to keep a very, very close eye on this one.

(Sorry Danny, but the dragon wouod recognize her by sent. It's not like she can tell anyone about it anyway.)

The light from the bottle revealed the stranger to be only Gyx. Famen calmed down as he climbed the rope up. As soon as he plopped down on deck, the sky changed from orange to black within a matter of seconds, weird. Famen hooked the bottle near the back of the ship, where the staircase between the wheel and deck were. The bottle lit up the whole of the ship and everything around it. There would be no 'White Whales' attacking this ship.

(I understand. Actually, the only person that'll understand her... Is Julia... I want to see this conversation now.)

Julia looked up at the dragon as it breathed in. She knows. No-way she can't. How did I forget about scent? Well... Not like she could change that... Besides, the only person that could understand the dragon was her, so her secret was safe.

Spoiler

"I didn't mean to. I... Lost control. I'm sorry. I'm trying to change, make it up to them... But. They'd kill me. Please don't kill me..."

The dragon let out a low, rumbling growl, which roughly translated to, "If you lose control again, I will kill you." before they said to save it for later. She turned around, nearly smacking the back of Julia's head with her tail, and plopped down at the opposite side of the ship to watch her. Every instinct told her to kill the humans person before she had the chance to turn on them again, but none of the rest of them knew who this person was and she had no way to tell them. They would react harshly to her biting off the humans person's head.

As soon as Julia shoved the humans person's leg, the dragon entered a threatening position, legs and wings spread out. She growled, "BACK AWAY. NOW."
