Fun Fact. It's actually a myth that carrots help you see in the dark. When we started using radar in WWII, the other side began to wonder why we British were taking down so many of their planes. Obviously, they didn't want them to know about radar, so they started putting articles in newspapers or posters or something about how carrots helped you see in the dark (which is why our pilots could see the German planes so well and were taking them down so easily). Anyway, everyone believed the carrot thing and that's how it started.

But Don't Starve isn't a particularly logical game, so I can see how this would be useful if your fire goes out and you need to find it to put more fuel in.

Or eating too many could turn your nose orange! :D

My Idea was make it that honey wouldn't spoil, as in real life.

According to...someone (lol I forget who..maybe Kevin) honey only stays fresh when in a sealed container. I suggested honey not rotting as well.

I don't know. I was sure honey is undestructable (in a way of rotting) it contains much sugar and some enzymes so any bacteria or fungus will die a horrific death. The suger could crystalize but if you rise the temperature it goes back to liquid gold. At least honey should have the highest amount of time till rot in the game!

speaking of honey not honey ham of course!

My thoughts exactly!

Seeds as well. Someone shot down my non-rotting seeds. Seeds will stay fresh for years, thousands of years sometimes. That is if they aren't exposed to too much moisture.

Ah, yes those too! Though I know people don't like how easily seeds can be collected in vast numbers, unless they fixed that again recently. But I would be fine with non-rotting seeds.
